Camberwell FAIR is inviting volunteers to get involved!

Date: 20th August 2016

Time: 12-8pm

We are offering 2 levels of involvement:

1) Get involved on the day. Come and do a 4hr shift helping out as a steward or
assistant in an area of your choice. Hot food and refreshments will be
provided to all volunteers, as well as a training session from our Head of
Security, and a social before the event.

2) Planning + Deep involvement. We are offering 6 volunteers the chance to work closely with our core team, helping with production in advance of the
fair. This is an amazing opportunity to learn about how a festival is put
together.

Depending on your interests, you can be involved with:
Event Production // Music // Marketing // Site Management //
Stalls Management

To participate in the programme, you must be able to dedicate at least 6 hours
before the event. We will work with you to identify your specific interests, and you will receive a detailed reference once you have completed the programme, food will be covered.

Download the application form.

Please email volunteers@camberwellfair.co.uk for more information.

About the Festival:

A celebration of  Camberwell’s music, people and culture. Two music stages, dance workshops, games, pop-up stalls run by local Camberwell businesses, food, drinks and a farmers market.

And, thanks to the support of Southwark Council (High Street Challenge ) and Arts Council England - entry is free!

There was a Fair on Camberwell Green from 1279 to 1855 so it's an honour to resurrect this ancient tradition with the new faces of Camberwell.

Expected capacity is 1800, with 3000-4000 people expected over the day.
